Spring Break came and went this year but since we were already at the beach it just felt like another week. One that didn’t involve online school. Cole started volunteering at the Turtle Conservancy for High School credit and he has been enjoying that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We got the walls painted and it has made the biggest difference. I love it so much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pete and Piper lived at Oak Island before I started fostering them so they are beach cats at heart \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then Austin and Taylor came down. Austin is still teaching and it was his Spring Break and Taylor is still working from home. It was a bummer she had to work all day but Austin ended up using the time to write his essays for his med school applications. He brought his cat Ky and his new kitty Stella Luna. She is small but mighty and had ALL the animals afraid of her lol. We spent the evenings playing games, bonfire on the beach, tossing the football, and riding bikes. We just got this game What do you Meme? <\/a>based on Taylors recommendation and it was a lot of fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though we have been living at the beach we don’t spend a lot of time just relaxing there. The weather got a little chilly and the only time we were going to the beach was to take the dogs to run. When a hot day finally happened I decided that after I got the kids fed lunch and back in afternoon classes I was going to take a couple hours and plant my butt in the sand and read. And watch the dolphins play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We went home last weekend for a couple days and met up with Blake before Austin and Taylor headed back to Ohio. Our pool was green and gross so Andy spent most of the time trying to shock it back into shape. It was weird to be back home after so long. We took advantage of the time. I got my first covid shot, got a yummy chopt<\/a> salad (I get the Kale Caesar)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grabbed dinner from Carolina Brewery<\/a> which is always good. We decided not to cook at all since we cook a ton at the beach. Ordered some good veggie Chinese food and grabbed a bunch of Brandwein’s Bagels<\/a> to take back to the beach with us. We said goodbye to the big kids and headed back to the coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
