Shocked.  I won&#8217;t post links, images of dogs being tortured can really stick with you and wreck your day so I will spare you that.  This angers me on so many levels.  The main one being the fact that I always try to be buy responsibly- I know that Proctor and Gamble is notorious for their animal testing and so I choose to not give them my money if I don&#8217;t have to.  I try to only buy &#8220;cruelty free&#8221; products.  It makes me mad that I couldn&#8217;t trust that a company with a wholesome reputation like Iams would not be involved in animal testing.  I feel duped.  I am mad that I have given them so much money over the last 10 plus years.  I always thought I was doing a good thing feeding my dogs Iams, well except for the time we found a dead mouse in the bag.   Sigh.\u00a0 Now the recall, all I have to say is what comes around goes around.<br \/>\nSo, it&#8217;s time for a change.  I have been wanting to change anyway because Barley has severe allergies and dog food has so much extra &#8220;crap&#8221; (for lack of a better word) as fillers.  I read in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/www.thebark.com\">Bark <\/a>magazine that dogs really need a dog food with simple basic ingredients and if you choose a food that limits it&#8217;s ingredients to only whole foods that they need, they have less allergies, their temperments are better, and they are healthier.  Hmm sounds just like what they say about kids.  <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.naturapet.com\/display.php?d=product-detail&#038;pxsl=%2F%2Fproduct%5B%40id%3D%2762%27%5D\">California Natural<\/a> seemed to have what we need so we are going to give it a try.  Adios Iams.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, moving on.  It&#8217;s thundering outside and the rain is coming down.  All dogs are curled into tight balls sleeping.  A perfect day to sew.  And speaking of sewing, we are featured on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.quiltersbuzz.com\/2007\/03\/it_is_time_for_small_changeeli.html\">Quilter&#8217;s Buzz<\/a> again.
