When we went to the beach with the older bunch we decided that it would be fun to set up a scavenger hunt for them in case we had a day or two of bad weather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy made a really fun interactive online game where they got points by figuring out the clues. They could follow each other on their phones and we could see their progress online from home. Pictures were required at each place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We split our group into two teams and named one the dolphins and one the gators. Because Austin may have had an unfair advantage of knowing more about the island we gave his team the slower golf cart. We also split up him and Taylor since she has been to the island many times<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was SO fun to follow them from home<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And I was impressed that they were able to figure out and find some of the harder ones (like the little island library)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We involved some of the island businesses, they were super excited and loved participating<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s crazy that this used to be the only telephone on the island<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The kids were having so much fun. We gave them two hours but ended up adding more stuff which you can do on the app<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even Austin learned more about BHI history<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They came home talking a mile a minute and comparing stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andy had to run out for an errand and saw Taylor figure this one out. He said he saw her get so excited and sprint to it<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first team dolphin was in the lead by a bunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But in the end team gator won. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All in all a very fun day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
