Do you have bored kids and need an idea to keep them busy?<\/p>\n

Here is one that I do with my kids every year.<\/p>\n

Ok first you need some beads.\u00a0 I buy these beads in bulk when the bead show comes to town but I am sure you can find something similar at Michael’s or JoAnn’s.<\/p>\n

Then you need some of these (willing or sometimes not so willing kiddos)<\/p>\n

Please ignore my crappy low light pictures- I was too lazy to change the settings and stuck my camera on auto.<\/p>\n

Ok next you need a board and some nails.\u00a0 I used cookie cutters to draw the shapes I wanted- I started with a tree and a star, but now I only do stars.\u00a0 I made Andy do this part for me as he is more accurate with where the nails should go.<\/p>\n

Gets some craft wire- I like to use different colors to match the beads- but you can just use silver if that’s all you can find.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_4130\"<\/a> Once you get the beads on the wires, bend them around the shapes- this is tricky and they often come out kind of wonky- but thats ok.<\/p>\n

Tie a ribbon through the top and there you go!<\/p>\n
