{"id":244,"date":"2007-06-26T12:59:21","date_gmt":"2007-06-26T17:59:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/26\/265-toilet-paper\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T13:10:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T17:10:41","slug":"265-toilet-paper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2007\/06\/26\/265-toilet-paper\/","title":{"rendered":"$265 toilet paper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Man that toilet paper at Costco sure is expensive.<\/p>\n<p>But that&#8217;s how it goes, you stop for one or two items and before you know it you can barely push the cart.<\/p>\n<p>I must admit however that I LOVE the feeling of being stocked up.\u00a0 I absolutely hate running out of things.<\/p>\n<p>So Cole and I spent the morning stocking up, on interfacing, zippers, and some fun green striped fabric that should be added soon.\u00a0 Then I remembered that we needed toilet paper and off to Costco we went.<\/p>\n<p>We now have enough snacks for the boys and all their buddies.\u00a0 The dogs have plenty of food, bones, and treats.\u00a0 Tubs of hummus for impromtu get together with friends.\u00a0 Laundry and dishwashing, covered.\u00a0 And Costco rocks when it comes to organic food.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of food, we came home with a bunch of veggies from the farm so I have been trying to use them up for dinner.\u00a0 Last night was a big yummy salad with home-made dressing and tonight is squash and zucchini pesto pasta.\u00a0 I am feeling a little proud of myself because I really don&#8217;t cook all that well but I have decided that I want to try it more.\u00a0 That and the fact that my days in my kitchen are numbered because it is soon going to be gutted.\u00a0 As I was trying to fill my fridge with all my Costoc purchases I decided that since we are getting a new (and hopefully bigger) fridge, I am going to put the current one in the garage to house overflow and kids drinks.\u00a0 I have a friend that has a very cool garage.\u00a0 Not the best picture but here it is.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/632119349\/garage.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" border=\"0\" alt=\"garage\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1097\/632119349_0d9ce31aa0.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The buckeye colored floor, the pinball machine, the pop machine.\u00a0 I think I inspired Andy because shortly after he saw this he made the family clean out the garage.\u00a0 All the crap that had been hauled out of the basement when it was remodeled had been stored in the garage.\u00a0 Funny how you realize that you just don&#8217;t need it anymore when it is out of site.\u00a0 We loaded up the van twice and hauled it off to Goodwill.\u00a0 It felt so good.<\/p>\n<p>Off to sew!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Man that toilet paper at Costco sure is expensive.
