\"IMG_0229-2\"<\/a> This little girl has been so good lately- being hauled to all of these sledding trips, letting anyone and everyone hold her and help take care of her since Andy has been working so much or in NYC and never home.\u00a0 My friends and boys have been so helpful lately.\u00a0 The boys- well I am just proud of them for seeming to just know<\/em> lately when I need a little help.\u00a0 It is hard to be a single parent- which is what I feel like most days.<\/p>\n

I was at dinner with friends on Friday night, when Andy texted me that the shuttle (jet) had a flat and they had to fly a new plane or tire (I wasn’t sure which) from Columbus to NYC to pick them up.\u00a0 He usually gets in close to 10pm, he had no idea when he would get home.\u00a0 Crazy.<\/p>\n

But he made it home late, and took the boys sledding (yet again) yesterday.\u00a0 Eva and I stayed home.\u00a0 She went to bed early last night and slept a good 12 hours.\u00a0 What a good baby!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0224\"<\/a> She is just so stinkin’ cute. I know the next shot is blurry but I love it anyway.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0207\"<\/a> For those that have emailed me about my camera that is for sale- I will get back with you.\u00a0 It has just been a busy few days.\u00a0 The basic facts are it is almost two years old, I upgraded to a full frame because I didn’t have a lot of space to work with for product images.\u00a0 And I don’t need two nice cameras.\u00a0 Blake wants the camera but it is just too nice for a ten year old, plus he has my old Rebel, plus I always find that Rebel with the lens cap off.\u00a0 So I am it selling instead.\u00a0 I will go through the emails in order that they were received.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0246-2\"<\/a> My goal for this 365 project was to become a better photographer and document a year in the life.<\/p>\n

So far it has been a messy representation of my life.\u00a0 So far the photography side hasn’t happened as I have either used my point and shoot or used my SLR as a point in shoot.\u00a0 I am going to try to change that.<\/p>\n

Last night I had Eva in the tub and yelled down to Andy to get my camera, almost forgot my picture for the day!<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0263\"<\/a> And of course when you are taking bathtub shots you have no time to mess with settings on the camera, especially with crazy girl here who likes to try to swim in the tub.\u00a0 So that means a lot of blurry, poorly exposed shots.\u00a0 But…. it also represents real life right now.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0256\"<\/a> And since my photos were less than spectacular, I decided to do a plug-in on two of them in LR just for fun and interest.<\/p>\n

\"IMG_0197\"<\/a> Lightroom is so awesome for lazy<\/span> busy people like me.\u00a0 I wish I had the time and patience to play with pictures in photoshop, but it hasn’t happened yet.\u00a0 So LR is my friend.\u00a0 Open in, click a plug-in, and there you go.\u00a0 A fun black and white.<\/p>\n
