off- thanks for all the great comments yesterday.\u00a0 So many of you I have gotten to know due to your regular comments on the blog and I love that.<\/p>\n<p>Today will be a big picture dump, so I didn&#8217;t bother to edit any of them.\u00a0 Let&#8217;s start with Miss E.\u00a0 We are long overdue on a shot of her, aren&#8217;t we?<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Original\" title=\"IMG_4556\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4294084122\/img_4556.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2716\/4294084122_51378576d0_o.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4556\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a> She hasn&#8217;t been feeling that good.\u00a0 Andy made me promise that I would take her in and have our friend Kris the dr. take a listen.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Original\" title=\"IMG_4554\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4293341791\/img_4554.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4056\/4293341791_cff8a73553_o.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4554\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/a> So I texted Kris and asked if I could bring her in-\u00a0 all is good.\u00a0 Viral bronchitis.\u00a0 No fever, clear lungs.\u00a0 Yay!<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Original\" title=\"IMG_4550\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4293341555\/img_4550.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4053\/4293341555_e8d927c96c_o.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4550\" width=\"822\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/a> I left my camera out yesterday and just took pictures every now and then<\/p>\n<p>Like my next project<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Large\" title=\"IMG_4580\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4294689863\/img_4580.html\"><img class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Medium\" title=\"IMG_4527\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4295440250\/img_4527.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4006\/4295440250_17907aef07.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4527\" width=\"333\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a> And then I walked in and saw this.\u00a0 And I laughed.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr tt-flickr-Large\" title=\"IMG_4582\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/4294698193\/img_4582.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2726\/4294698193_52b3665c4d_b.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4582\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>and then I made him move.\u00a0 Won&#8217;t be winning any mother of the year awards with that one.\u00a0 Which brings me to another topic- tv and video time.<\/p>\n<p>When I had just two small boys I tried to put a limit on how much they spent on each.\u00a0 As time went by, and they pushed for more, I decided that it was a battle that I just didn&#8217;t want to fight every day.\u00a0 And they needed to figure out how much was too much.\u00a0 So I let it go.\u00a0 And you know what?\u00a0 They watch very little tv.\u00a0 Video games are another story.\u00a0 Some days it&#8217;s a lot, some days it&#8217;s a little.\u00a0 But it has a flow.\u00a0 And I have noticed that they police themselves.\u00a0 They have realized that it doesn&#8217;t feel good sitting in front of the tv all day.\u00a0 I watch them move on, Legos, guitars, sports&#8230; And I am very happy that they are learning moderation on their own.\u00a0 Don&#8217;t get me wrong- some days I have to give a reminder that it is time to move along- but for the most part they do it themselves.\u00a0 A skill I think every kids needs.\u00a0 We all know the kids that went to college and then watched tv and played video games all day because they could never do it at home.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a harder lesson to learn at 18.<\/p>\n<p>I should add that this is what works for us, it may not be the best option for you.\u00a0 I take the same approach with music.\u00a0 I told the boys that I would pay for their guitar lessons as long as they would practice without me telling them to do it.\u00a0 So far so good.\u00a0 Every now and then I will drop a reminder for Blake- but Austin plays every single day.\u00a0 Without me telling him.\u00a0 However when he asked if he could also play trumpet in the band I said no way.\u00a0 One instrument was enough, I just knew I would have to force trumpet practice and lets be honest here- I really didn&#8217;t want to listen to it.\u00a0 Although I could have done what my neighbor did when her girls were younger- they practiced outside on had dinner to fix, and basketball practice to get Blake to, a sleepover guest arrived for Blake, a hockey game&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>But here is what I wished I had also photographed<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shiloh drinking from Eva&#8217;s bottle that was left on the floor.<\/li>\n<li>Blake&#8217;s finished cookies (which turned out good!)<\/li>\n<li>Andy coming home with Chipotle for dinner for him and I<\/li>\n<li>Blake in his skin tight Under Armour shirt.\u00a0 I think it is time for a new one<\/li>\n<li>Aimee bringing me over a mid-afternoon Starbucks<\/li>\n<li>The guy that was totally smitten with Eva at the dr.&#8217;s offiice<\/li>\n<li>the look on the school office ladies faces when I took Cole to school late and he let out a huge hacking cough and they said, &#8221; you are signing him <em>in<\/em>??&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Karen at the gym when she said, &#8220;do you want to just go get coffee instead of staying here?&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Cole pitching a fit when I went to grab him from his buddies house when Eva&#8217;s dr. appointment ran late.<\/li>\n<li>Shiloh- jumping in the car for the quick jaunt over to the school, getting all nervous when Austin disappeared inside the school, she started to shake.\u00a0 She really is his pooch.\u00a0 Every boy needs a friend like that.<\/li>\n<li>Austin acting like he was trapped in the basement behind the french door and Eva trying to save him.\u00a0 Their hands both up against the glass.<\/li>\n<li>When it started to rain and I had left the dogs outside.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So much to learn from the 365 project.\u00a0 I realize that I am not doing it right, I think the idea is to pick one picture to represent your day.\u00a0 I just don&#8217;t know how I could do that.\u00a0 My days are all over the map.\u00a0 But
