Yesterday day was the annual Limited<\/a> Day at the Point<\/a>.\u00a0 Always an adventure.<\/p>\n

The older boys decided to start off with an easy ride, I even convinced them to go on the school bus with Cole and I.\u00a0 Austin was less than thrilled.<\/p>\n

After that we pretty much parted ways.\u00a0 The boys were brave and did the big Roller Coasters with their dad. Even this one<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cole and I stuck to mild rides, like the Giant Ferris Wheel which I love because it is right next to the lake<\/a><\/p>\n

Each year it changes, the first couple years I would escape with Cole over to the beach<\/a> so he could nap or nurse or just play in the sand.\u00a0 This year he was a trooper and was all over the rides.\u00a0 I actually missed our quiet breaks at the beach. This is the first year that we didn’t go up the night before so we just made it a day trip.\u00a0 The boys missed that part of the trip too.<\/p>\n

While we like to go in the summer because, well it’s free- we also really like to go in October.\u00a0 The weather is perfect, the lines are short and the atmosphere is more mellow.\u00a0 Plus they bring out all the creepy Halloween props.<\/p>\n

Every August I start to long for fall.\u00a0 Probably my favorite time of year, I am looking forward to the changing colors, the crispness in the air, and the fun fall functions at the boys school.\u00a0 But today we are supposed to get close to 90, my a\/c has been running for two weeks now!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
