Wow, this week was nuts.\u00a0 For those of you that are tired of looking at my messy house better stop here.\u00a0 My contractor knows how to keep things moving.\u00a0 Check this out, I now have a two story addition<\/p>\n

The concrete slab was poured for the screened porch.\u00a0 All the big openings are french doors, including the one on the top (which will walk out onto a balcony over the screened porch).<\/p>\n

There is another window to the left of the ladder upstairs- it has plywood over if for now.<\/p>\n

Blake’s old room is now going to be our master bath, it was gutted this week.<\/p>\n

Old was connected to new<\/p>\n

Our new master bedroom<\/p>\n

The view from the master- one day I will have a nice yard again…<\/p>\n

The boys- who are being good sports about living in a house with no kitchen and no a\/c.<\/p>\n

We have a motto around here these days, “it will all be worth it, right??”<\/p>\n

So halfway (or more like a third of the way) through this process my biggest advice would be to find a contractor that you like and trust- also a sense of humor is mandatory in this kind of situation.\u00a0 Life’s too short to not work with fun people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
