wear me out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I always have such good intentions and a list a mile long of what needs to get done over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>But it never happens.<\/p>\n<p>Friday started out with an impromptu gathering for a friend&#8217;s birthday which meant a late night for all, including kiddos.\u00a0 Late Fridays mean grumpy Saturdays when we have to haul them all out for soccer.\u00a0 We were lucky as the first game was until 10:30 or so which allowed time for a Starbucks run and a chat with the framers who showed up and said they were going to work all day and maybe stayed an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Blake&#8217;s game was hot and Cole was whining and cranky.\u00a0 His buddy Nate was there who was also cranky so they were cranky together.\u00a0 Lot&#8217;s of rolling around on the ground.<br \/>\n<a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1427713255\/IMG_2987_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2987 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1309\/1427713255_98d36b7f0c.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>MB had a game on the field right next to us so I caught her being goalie<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1428589042\/IMG_2985_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2985 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1216\/1428589042_9bbfd8222c.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Andy decides that he really needs a haircut so I take all the boys to Cole&#8217;s game.\u00a0 And since Cole was still whining and cranky he didn&#8217;t do a whole lot during his game, except try to snag a couple naps on the sidelines.<\/p>\n<p>We head home and load up the car with a bunch more stuff to go to the storage place.\u00a0 I realized that I was getting cranky just looking at all the boxes in the house and I felt much better once I cleared a lot of it out.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime I did 4 loads of laundry and changed the sheets.<\/p>\n<p>Austin gets a call to go to a friends house and I decide to mow the lawn. \u00a0 You wouldn&#8217;t think this would take very long since I no longer have a backyard with grass but it took forever.\u00a0 2 friends stopped by to chat and then one of Cole&#8217;s friends down the street wanted him to play.\u00a0 So I let him go with lots of promises from him that when it is time to go home WILL NOT FREAK OUT, which he always does.\u00a0 I finish the lawn and I am down to one kid and a quiet house.\u00a0 Perfect time to take a shower- but as I am heading up my architect calls and says he left his camera here and really needs to come get it.<\/p>\n<p>Andy calls and says that we should get a babysitter and go out.\u00a0 Like maybe to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thegreatindoors.com\/\">Great Indoors<\/a>.\u00a0 Feeling like my parents that head to Lowes for a night out I tell him maybe not.\u00a0 So he comes back with dinner from Chili Verde (YUM) and a wounded Austin who crashed on a scooter while at his friends house and had a nice bleeding wound on his leg.\u00a0 I get him cleaned up just in time to for the Monkey Bus to arrive.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1428604638\/IMG_2994_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2994 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1357\/1428604638_fcc4fe3464.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1428608022\/IMG_2993_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"387\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2993 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1316\/1428608022_0c2dbc2cea.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Some friends of ours bought this bus off Ebay and gutted the inside.\u00a0 They put couches, 6 drop down tv&#8217;s and it is their tailgating machine.\u00a0 They also take it on road trips to places like the Grand Canyon.\u00a0 Tonight is was out and about picking up 16 boys for a sleepover birthday party.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1427716517\/IMG_2989_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2989 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1330\/1427716517_34585cfe11.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So off Austin went on the Monkey Bus for a night of zero sleep<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1428598910\/IMG_2991_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2991 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1122\/1428598910_af7955b711.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"tt-flickr\" href=\"https:\/\/elisalou.com\/blog\/photos\/photo\/1427722845\/IMG_2992_copy.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" border=\"0\" alt=\"IMG_2992 copy\" src=\"http:\/\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1173\/1427722845_87dd9f070b.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After I get Austin out the door I head down to pick up Cole, and of course he throws a fit when he sees me and tries to run and hide.\u00a0 His girlfriend Scarlett (who is 4 1\/2 and waaaay more mature) says to me,&#8221;Cole is my boyfriend.\u00a0 My crazy 4 year old boyfriend.\u00a0 My <em>soccer player<\/em> boyfriend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I think about telling her that she should never fall for a guy just because of the uniform because he might just be napping on the sidelines but I am too busy throwing her soccer player boyfriend over my shoulder to take him home.<\/p>\n<p>Against our better judgment we haul the two boys up to the Great Indoors and amazingly they managed to hold it together (for the most part).\u00a0 By 9:30 I was exhausted.\u00a0 I kept yawning and Andy asked,&#8221;why are you so tired?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Hmmm, no idea.<\/p>\n<p>And guess what?\u00a0 We have round two today.\u00a0 Blake has a make-up soccer game and Austin has a football game which will be a joke since a lot of the team was at the party last night.<\/p>\n<p>We also have a pool party to attend, the final swim of the year before our friends close up their pool for the year.<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward to winter, when my family goes into hibernation.
