{"id":332,"date":"2007-11-12T11:48:45","date_gmt":"2007-11-12T16:48:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/12\/save-the-whales-again\/"},"modified":"2007-11-12T11:48:45","modified_gmt":"2007-11-12T16:48:45","slug":"save-the-whales-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/12\/save-the-whales-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Save the Whales- again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Have you seen <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.savethewhalesagain.com\/wm_master.html\">this<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>As I was folding laundry Saturday night on my bed and flipping through channels I stumbled on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.savethewhalesagain.com\/wm_master.html\">this interview <\/a>on Access Hollywood.\u00a0 I usually try to stay away from news stories like this because they make me so incredibly sad but pretending it isn&#8217;t there doesn&#8217;t make the cruelty stop.\u00a0 Bravo to this young 18 year old for having the guts to get out there and raise awareness on this horrid practice.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to be an animal lover.\u00a0 I am fully aware of the eye rolling that goes on behind my back from family and friends.\u00a0\u00a0 And just as people don&#8217;t understand why it upsets me so much, I cannot even begin to contemplate how people can think it is ok.\u00a0 Because it&#8217;s not.<br \/>\nOff my soapbox, at least for today-<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Have you seen this?
