There is no doubt in my mind I am supposed to be living in some funky little beach town.\u00a0 You know the kind, where there is no neon, no big souvenir shops, just lots of cool local places to eat and shop.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Taco Boy, in Folly Beach South Carolina<\/p>\n

For the past couple of years I have been obsessed with all things South Carolina.\u00a0 Mainly Charleston, Folly Beach, and the islands.\u00a0 Feeling a big pull from that area.\u00a0 I am already planning our retirement, or at least an Elisalou relocation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Recently I picked up this book from the library<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>And was then surprised to see the authors beach house in the latest Better Homes and Gardens.<\/p>\n

Her house is on Tybee Island which is off the coast of Georgia.\u00a0 May have to check that one out next.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>She and her husband live in Atlanta full time.\u00a0 But Tybee is only 4 hours away<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>And her kids and Grandkids meet them out there on weekends.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I could seriously get used to that<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>I so love this house.\u00a0 And they even rent it out.\u00a0 So you could stay there too!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I don’t think I could rent it out, if it belonged to me.\u00a0 I’m selfish like that.<\/p>\n

Nothing fancy, just laid back living.<\/p>\n

My husband is always getting phone calls from recruiters trying to lure him out to the west coast but as hard as I try I can’t seem to get on board.\u00a0 And don’t get me wrong, Cali is beautiful- I lived there as a kid for a bit.\u00a0 But I am an east coast girl.\u00a0 Big time.\u00a0 I recently read someone describing the diff between the Pacific Ocean vs. the Atlantic.\u00a0 Words like angry and cold were used to describe the Pacific, and they ended saying “and no matter which way you drive, the water is always on the wrong side of the road.”<\/p>\n
