It’s been a while since I have done an Eva update.<\/p>\n

As you can see she is still the cutest thing ever.<\/p>\n

She turned 14 months on the 21st.\u00a0 Which is so hard to believe.<\/p>\n

She still doesn’t walk, unless she is holding a hand.\u00a0 But she can crawl faster than any baby I have ever seen.\u00a0 My first boy walked at 10 months (not a good idea!) and the other two were 13 months (Cole closer to 14).\u00a0 Blake never crawled, he just sat around until he turned 13 months and then got up and walked.\u00a0 I didn’t walk until I was 14 months.\u00a0 It’s fun to see babies develop at their own pace.<\/p>\n

She already has a fiery Latin Temper.\u00a0 She gets really stinkin mad and throws herself on the floor.\u00a0 Total drama.\u00a0 I haven’t seen a temper like this since my first child.\u00a0 Yes, he was a tantrum thrower- big time.<\/p>\n

Eva has never been a snugly baby.\u00a0 She tends to go go go, and then drop.\u00a0 At which point she wants to be held and nothing else will do.\u00a0 Also like my first kid- although he never dropped- he’d just keep going.<\/p>\n

But lately, now that she is starting to get it, she will give hugs and say “awwww”.\u00a0 And I have noticed that while she will still go to anyone, she shows a strong preference to me.\u00a0 Or if her dad is home, he is first choice and I am 2nd.\u00a0 But for the most part, she is a really big people person.\u00a0 People are drawn to this child like a magnet, and she loves it.\u00a0 We haven gotten used to it, but sometimes it still surprises me how engaging she is with everyone.\u00a0 We can’t go out without having at least one stranger stop and tell her how cute she is, and I have seen her pull a smile even out of the most grumpy store clerk.<\/p>\n

Speaking of words- she is limited.\u00a0 Dog, hi, bye, dada, and occasionally she will say mama but only if she is really tired and wants me to pick her up.\u00a0 Lots of babble that she seems to think we understand.<\/p>\n

I know she is a little sponge, taking it all in.\u00a0 It’s funny by the 4th kid you just don’t have that drive to make them grow up super fast.\u00a0 I’m ok that she doesn’t walk, or talk a lot.\u00a0 No pushing her.\u00a0 I did that before.<\/p>\n

Her sense of humor cracks me up.\u00a0 The other night we were hanging out just she and I watching a funny movie.\u00a0 I was laughing a lot and she kept watching me.\u00a0 Finally she looked at me and said, “blah blah blah- hahahahahahaha”\u00a0 total fake laugh.\u00a0 I just looked at her, surely she wasn’t making fun of me, but sure enough- next time I laughed she did it again.\u00a0 Little stinker.<\/p>\n

She likes to play with vintage Matchbox cars that belonged to Andy.\u00a0 I think that’s cool.<\/p>\n

She loves to swim.\u00a0 Loves it.\u00a0 Doesn’t care about water in her eyes or anything.<\/p>\n

She is sneaky and will try to get things she isn’t supposed to by being very quiet about it or very fast.<\/p>\n

If she gets mad at you she will pinch you.\u00a0 And sometimes bite you if her teeth hurt.<\/p>\n

Her hair is proving to be a challenge, it’s getting bigger every day.\u00a0 I refuse to cut it, it is sooo thick!<\/p>\n

At her last dr appointment she weighed 24 lbs.\u00a0 She is finally growing taller faster than wider but she is still roly poly, which makes her very squeezable!\u00a0 The boys love her chub- when they look at her newborn pics they claim she looked like an alien and is much cuter now, lol.<\/p>\n
