Sigh.\u00a0 Well we have finally come to realize that all the problems I have been having with breaking needles, jams, and an uncooperative sewing machine are because it just isn’t designed to handle the work load that I am putting it under.\u00a0 I love my (new) Janome but apparently even though it is made for the “professional” it is not made for the “industrial” sewer.\u00a0 Yesterday when I barely dodged a needle breaking and heading straight for my eye, I decided enough is enough.\u00a0 I hopped online to see if my suspicions were correct.\u00a0 And they are.\u00a0 I need an industrial machine.\u00a0 One that can sew through many layers without having to change the needle with every bag.\u00a0 One that sews super fast (ok I am little scared about that aspect)\u00a0 One that doesn’t send broken needles into my fingers and eyes.\u00a0 One that keeps a straight stitch through all the bulk.<\/p>\n
So Cole and I are off, to check them out at the local industrial sewing machine dealer.\u00a0 I hate having to buy another new machine but the bright side is I can keep them both up and I can use the Janome to sew on labels and such.\u00a0 So no, Kathy you can’t have that machine, because some day when I have the time I am actually going to quilt again and that machine is ideal for that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
