<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The other night the sun decided to grace us with it’s presence and we were so happy! Middle school Lax was canceled because the fields are an absolute mess and completely trashed, and Cole’s lax ends early. It’s always nice to get an unexpected break for a night. So what do you do when your sun hungry kids after dinner ask to walk to the park at the end of the street? You say Oh yeah!!! The river is completely flooded. A long tree or log floated past and I yelled, ‘look at the Whale Shark!!” Cole of course believed me. He was so excited. I had to fess up that I was just kidding, Whale Sharks don’t live in rivers…. I love how Cole comes home from lax and pulls off his cleats and puts his boots on. All kinds of stuff was floating down the river, ducks having fun riding the current, tons of trees, and the occasional basketball The boys love the chin-up bar. They like to hang from their knees. I have been uploading pics all day for Gramma Lu- the kids great gramma. She broke her hip a couple days ago and is recovering in a Dallas hospital. She is doing great but please pray she has a complete recovery! We love you Gramma Lu!! Wish we were closer so I could take Eva to see her- I know that would brighten her day \ud83d\ude42 Or this dude- a big fat smooch on that face. Right after I took this picture Cole lost the two baby teeth on either side of those big front rabbit teeth! He wiggles them until they fall out. It creeps me out! I kept telling Cole- hang on, I want to take a picture of you! He said, “my hands are slipping!!” Good to have a brother help you out- see they don’t just fight…. oh wait yes they do The basketball Ok I must end it here and post the rest tomorrow. Eva appears to be coming down with a cold so she is the tub while the rest of the fam went to Target. I think it will be early bed for the Chica- when she gets done drinking all the tub water.
