It looked suspiciously like melanoma because it was a dark bluish black color.\u00a0 But it was also tiny and round.<br \/>\nSkin cancer in kids is rare,\u00a0 especially dark skinned kids like Blake, who also always wear sunscreen and has no family history.\u00a0 But it <em>can<\/em> happen so we wait to see.\u00a0 And if it is, hopefully we caught it early.<\/p>\n<p>Check your kiddos!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not so patiently waiting on the results of a weird looking mole that Blake had removed on Friday.
