Since she is at the vet every other week for her allergy issues (it seems like) we had them check it out, they thought she had just pulled a muscle. But it just kept getting worse. And now she puts no weight on it at all. So back into the vet she went. Turns out she tore her acl in her leg. And she needs surgery at Ohio State. And it’s gonna cost about 3k. \ud83d\ude41 But it’s my Barley girl. We got her when Cole was 6 months old. She is the best dog, despite terrible allergies and costing us a bajillion dollars over the last 7 years. She loved sleeping in Cole’s carseat as a pup I know a lot of people would put her down. That’s not an option. She doesn’t have cancer, she has something that can be fixed. And we are gonna fix it. The other day Austin asked me what I would have done if I had gone back to grad school. Vet. Of course. I thought I had told him that a million times. I’m sure I did. My dream job now would be to rescue abused dogs. I would turn the farm into a safe place to rehab them and then put them up for adoption. Dream job for sure. Man I love dogs. They are the best.
