The back to school party was a little different this year<\/p>\n

Food trucks instead of packed dinners, ice cream stands, fire trucks, and a new band.<\/p>\n

We have been going to this shindig for 9 years now and as the older kids phase out and the younger kids phase in we sit and watch it all from our blanket on the hill<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Every time I turned around someone was giving Eva more ice cream, candy, capris suns.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My friends son that is a day older than Eva.\u00a0 She kept pushing him around in his stroller.<\/p>\n

When Austin went to this school one of his friends dads bands played.\u00a0 It was an 80’s band.\u00a0 Lots of parents would get up and dance.\u00a0 This band was fun but there wasn’t much dancing.\u00a0 In fact all the kids (and parents) seemed to be in the back on the playground.\u00a0 It used to be that it was hard to find a spot on the hill.\u00a0 This year it seemed like very few sat down…<\/p>\n

Eva sat with anyone that had food<\/p>\n
