{"id":631,"date":"2008-11-06T18:01:55","date_gmt":"2008-11-06T23:01:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2008\/11\/06\/boys-rooms\/"},"modified":"2008-11-06T18:01:55","modified_gmt":"2008-11-06T23:01:55","slug":"boys-rooms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.elisalou.com\/blog\/2008\/11\/06\/boys-rooms\/","title":{"rendered":"Boy&#8217;s Rooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have been asked to show my boy&#8217;s rooms- well the answer is no.\u00a0 They are messy, and they pretty much stay that way.<\/p>\n<p>Until my boys learn to clean their rooms you will never see them on here.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, just kidding.\u00a0 You all know that I am not afraid of mess.\u00a0 I embrace mess.\u00a0 Mess is my life (along with a lot of burps and farts but that is a whole nother story).<\/p>\n<p>For some reason I am have been in full purge mode lately.\u00a0 In fact I just finished hauling our old dismantled playset to the curb- for the guys that creep around on the night before trash night for hidden goodies.\u00a0 Andy has new plans for a cool new fort for the boys and the old one had to go. \u00a0 Plans, lots of plans.\u00a0 I have my eye on a cool pirate ship fort thing but if I know Andy he will want to design and build himself.\u00a0 Of course all this will now have to wait until next spring as I think today may have been our last day of mid 70&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>SO that brings me back to boy&#8217;s rooms.\u00a0 We are planning an overhaul, switcheroo, mixing things up a bit.\u00a0 And with that maybe a few pictures before the boys destroy them.\u00a0 Austin has a buckeye room and it won&#8217;t change much except for his closet.\u00a0 We are thinking some kind of buillt-in media area.\u00a0 Cole is going to move into Blake&#8217;s room.\u00a0 They want to room together so we are hoping to change up that room a bit and add some cool features- not exactly sure what yet.\u00a0 Stay tuned- hopefully pictures soon.<\/p>\n<p>The basement is also getting a make-over.\u00a0 The cork floor is not a hit with the kiddos so we are thinking of laying carpet over it.\u00a0 And then floor to ceiling shelves from Ikea.\u00a0 So the home remodel continues&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have been asked to show my boy&#8217;s rooms- well the answer is no.\u00a0 They are messy, and they pretty much stay that way.
