So I called my mom today and told her that I need her to come up tomorrow because Andy is going to NYC again for a couple days.\u00a0 She responds by telling me that she is coming up this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
E- “that’s not good enough! (insert whine)\u00a0 I need help this week while Andy is gone, don’t you know last week I almost had to give the kids up for adoption??”<\/p>\n
My mom- “Oh my poor babies! I’ll call you back after I talk to your dad”<\/p>\n
\u00a0He he he, I knew that would work.\u00a0 No way my dad won’t say, “Go help her, my Grandkids can’t be given up for adoption!”<\/p>\n
See I love my mom to death.\u00a0 She just retired, this is her first year not teaching Special Ed, high school Special Ed at that.\u00a0 She has the patience of a Saint!\u00a0 She lets my nieces roller blade in her kitchen!\u00a0<\/p>\n
So anyway, not only will I have back-up with the kiddos, I am putting her to work cutting, ironing, interfacing.<\/p>\n
