Yesterday afternoon\/evening we carved pumpkins with some friends and neighbors. There was lots of food and pumpkin guts everywhere.<\/p>\n

Eva took a handful of cherry tomatoes that I think she assumed were baby strawberries. She was not happy when she bit into it.<\/p>\n

We set up lots of tables but most of the kids just wanted to sit on the ground to carve.<\/p>\n

I can’t remember how many years now we have been doing this neighborhood party, glad the big kids still think that it is fun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And grown-ups too<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Sometimes there’s some friendly competition but this year was much more mellow.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

With Halloween being on a Monday this year it seems much more spread out. Seems like we have been celebrating it for a month.<\/p>\n

There was of course some pumpkin guts thrown at each other by the middle schoolers<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

But nothing too bad<\/p>\n

I have to admit I am ready to wrap up Halloween of 2011.<\/p>\n

Well after the little chica gets to dress up in her little witchy costume tonight. So cute.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n
