We like to say if we had started with our third, there might not be three. There might be one. Like a lot of families with three kids we have the first born that is total type A. Follows the rules (well most) and is an over achiever. The middle one that is the laid back happy-go-lucky one, and the third one. The crazy one. Our third child would climb onto the dining room table and hang from the chandelier before he could even walk. He is known for his crazy antics and demanding ways.
Last weekend Andy decided to seal the driveway. He had the whole thing taped off and the kids and dogs were told to stay off. As Cole and I were leaving to go to a friends house he made a bee-line for the driveway. I told him not to walk on it. He was still plowing full speed ahead so I started yelling for him to stop. “Don’t walk on the driveway!”. Before I had finished my sentence he had lifted the caution tape and was making a run for it. Of course he didn’t get far before he slipped in the black tar and did a face plant. I froze. My neighbor, Kitty Jo- remember her? She was weeding in her front yard and she looked up and me and said, “oh Elisa. Ohhhhh Elisa!” while trying really hard not to laugh. I leaned over and tried to retrieve Cole without having to walk across the driveway and also trying to avoid having him touch my white sweater. He was black- head to toe.
Fortunately that stuff washes off with warm water and soap. I cleaned him up and we headed out again and wouldn’t you know he tried to do it again! This time I was faster and I caught him.
My in-laws would say he comes by it honestly, my husband (a third child) tried to saw the dog in half when he was a kid. He now claims he wasn’t really going to do it. Fortunately he was caught before he did any damage.
Now a reminder
Tomorrow is the last day to get your orders in if you want them under your Christmas tree.

As I was driving to the dentist today to get my permanent crown I realized that the pain that this temp has been causing me has made me grumpy for the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks. My mouth has been killing me. I have gotten a crown before, it didn’t feel like this. Turns out my temp was loose, I now have my permanent crown and already it feels better. Yay.

I am sure that most of you that read my blog have signed up for the newsletter but just in case you haven’t one is going out today.
Grandad if you are reading this I know you will enjoy seeing your tops!
I also want to thank everyone for being so patient with their orders. Once again we are taking longer than the 14 day estimate due to the number of orders we are getting. That is why we have to go ahead and cap the orders coming in for the holidays. We are happy we are busy but at some point I have to get the tree up and do some Christmas shopping for some little boys. Thinking the week before Christmas…..
The agenda for the new year is to hire on help!

Last night we walked over to downtown to watch the annual tree lighting ceremony. The weather was so nice- downtown was filled with people. We tried to get some dinner at Pk’s but with 4 adults and 6 hungry kids and a one hour wait….it ended up being pizza and chinese at our friends house which was just as fun.
Back to business, I wanted to remind everyone that the fabrics we have are usually in limited quantity. I like to keep things moving so things are constantly changing. If there is a fabric you love, best to grab it while it is still availalbe. I will try to post here when things are getting low. Two fabrics that will probably be pulled soon are the pink multi stripe and brown sunflower.

Love this chocolate brown corduroy with the light blue dots.
Happy Monday, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

We got back in yesterday from my parents place.

The weather was amazing and we played outside a lot.

Notice the dirty pants, always a sign of a good time.

Cole enjoyed riding his bike up and down the driveway with his grandparents.

My dad in the barn door

Barely and Blake spent a lot of time playng together. Love these pictures of them rolling in the pasture

After working most of Thanksgiving break I have decided to cap the holiday sales soon- thinking maybe the end of the month. So if you want a bag for Christmas, order now! I am hoping to get things wrapped up the week prior to Christmas so I can enjoy a break with my family.
Also, more cool fabrics on the way, look for them after the holidays!
