Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes

One thing I love about putting my ipod on shuffle is that I get to hear songs that I normally don’t listen to.

As I was out for a walk today, thinking about what I needed to pack for my families weekend getaway south later this week, Jimmy Buffet came on my ipod.

It’s no secret it has been a rough year around here.  Lots of changes.  Some good (Eva) some not so good.

I was a little stressed yesterday and when I am stressed I walk. I walked so much I ended up with the big blisters on my foot.
Andy was in NYC, Eva was grumpy with an ear infection, and I had so much on my mind. So many things up in the air right now. I hate to be vague, I will share it all soon.

But until then I will leave you with a little Jimmy Buffet.  As I listened to this song, I was nodding my head.  Yeah that.  And that. Exactly.

Because if I can’t laugh I would go insane!

Looking forward to our change in latitude and hopefully some changes in attitude.

  1. hang in there, better days are coming!! everything will work out, and you find happiness! I keep telling myself the same thing, 2010 has been very hard on us as well.

  2. I am sorry to hear you are stressed. I understand about the power of walking though when things are tough. A nice long walk always clears my mind too.
I hope things get better soon for you. I know exactly how hard it is when things are in a state of flux and you don’t know where you will land. We are there right now and just added another kink in the chain yesterday. Hang in there and I can’t wait to see how everything turns out.

  3. Hope your days turn brighter – soon!!!
Walking is the best way to make yourself feel better.
    Hang in there.

  4. Hang in there! Things go get brighter at the end of the tunnel. just look at the sweet girl Eva. That’ll make things feel better 🙂

  5. The unknown is always a bit scary. From past experience I have found that things always do work out for the best. I know in when you are in the thick of it, it just doesn’t seem like true.
Hug the kids and know you are blessed.

  6. I think we could both use a little girl talk…I think I know what you’re going through….love the song.:)
