Last weekend of the summer!!

I am so not ready. I could use a couple more weeks.

The kids though, pretty sure they are (almost) ready. They are getting to the bored stage.

Andy and Eva must not be ready

I need to get busy, label school supplies for B and C- buy school supplies for Austin. Buy new running shoes for Austin nevermind-waited so long to post this I got some of this done- Austin’s new size 11.5 running shoes are sitting in the hall and I am a little lighter in the wallet, find a preschool for Miss Eva, take her in for her shots turns out she didn’t need any but she was one crazy girl in the dr.’s office. My friend (her dr) asked if she ever sits down and snuggles. Nope. She is go go go and then falls apart and then falls asleep! Unless she sees someone else snuggle with me (cole) and then she offers up a brief hug.

She did clock in a little lighter on the scale and a little taller on the wall. My short little girly is stretching out a bit, losing some baby fat.

Once again we didn’t get our money out of our pool membership. I don’t know why I dish out the cash for it every year when I never want to go! I got lucky today and all the boys that stayed here last night went to the pool with my friend and she took cole too. Awesome.

I asked Andy to pull Eva up by him so I could get them all on the same plane (and all in focus without changing my aperture) but she didn’t want to and when I saw the pics, I kinda liked them blurry in the background.

I have enjoyed summer ’11- how about you?

I love her butt kicking face- reminds me of that spongebob episode with the fish that keeps saying, “I’m gonna kick your butt”

Yesterday Austin asked why Eva acts like a boy all the time. A boy in a dress. Hmmm. No idea. Although the other day at Costco she saw the princess halloween costumes and she let out a loud gasp and pointed saying “oh oh oh!!”

I know I keep saying it, I’m not ready for summer to end. Wish I could throw them in the car for one last beach trip of the summer.

Although Austin told me today that he and his friends are running out of things to do. I guess it’s time.

Sigh. Another summer, come and gone.

Great pics Elisa! Love the one of Austin and Eva on the fence.

I have to say, I am personally ready for the kids to go back to school, but not ready for the sun to go away yet. 🙂 My youngest is going into middle school and got his pics taken at jump start a few days ago. He keeps pulling his student id out of his wallet and looking at it. HE is so ready to go back to school. I don’t think my high schoolers feel the same way. 🙂

Hope you guys continue to have some nice weather for a while.

I haven’t had the best summer (or the most memorable one either), but that doesn’t mean that I’m ready for it to be over. I LOVE the sunshine and hearing the birds in the morning.

I’m SO not ready for today. Sigh. I want to throw a tantrum over summer ending, and I would if it would change anything. I love fall…I really do but Winter. Sigh. You know it’s gonna be January before we know it and then we’ll both be complaining about it being January!

LOVE the pictures by the way 🙂 Always do!
