2019

That is so crazy to type! I can’t believe it is 2019! The kids went back to school this week and Andy flew out to Vegas for the week. I guess I didn’t realize this job would require the amount of travel that it does but it is much more flexible than jobs in the past so there is a give and take I guess.

Eva has had a hard week. She loved having her older brothers back and having them leave, her dad leave, and going back to school after a long break wasn’t easy. I got a call from her teacher last night letting me know that she seemed sad. I am so thankful for teachers like this that will take time at 7pm at night to call me and let me know that things are a little off.

I have cried a lot this week. Change is hard. I miss the way things used to be.
I knew our time in Ohio was done. Do I miss my boys, big time. Do I miss my house, absolutely. That said I am excited to move forward. Excited about our new house.

We were so lucky to stumble on our rental and we rented it sight unseen. We needed a place that would take dogs, and not many places do. We wanted it to zone to the same schools that the kids will go to when we move into our house. Although I hate that I can’t use the microwave and coffee maker at the same time without tripping the breaker. I hate that our oven stopped working and that the heat is finicky.

6 more months…So so ready to settle.

And because no post is good without a picture- my squirrel watcher who fell asleep on duty after a 6 mile walk.
