Spring

Spring arrived in North Carolina in one big yellow fog. It happens every year but this year it was crazy.

Even the dogs were getting watery eyes.

The strange thing was although it was super messy it really didn’t affect me or Cole. We both started sneezing when the next round came through that doesn’t leave so much yellow everywhere. I guess the first is pine pollen and the what’s happening now is a different kind of tree. My allergy shots make mine not so bad but poor Cole is suffering just like he did last time we lived here. Even Blake who is currently visiting is sneezing a ton.

I love taking our dogs to the river to play and swim. This time we tried a new place along the Eno and it had these great rocks that you could sit on and let the water rush all around you. It would be fun to go for a day, pack a picnic and just hang out. This particular spot was in Durham.

Hat day at school. Eva showing her loyalty 🙂

Dreaming of Summer and time spent around the pool.

Backsplash going in at the new house. The blue on the countertop is to protect them, they aren’t really blue 🙂

Other house updates

Oakley went in for an echo and he got the all clear 🙂 Once again please don’t feed your dog grain free food.

Austin ran the Boston Marathon. SO very proud of him. Andy flew up to Boston to meet him, I was so sad I wasn’t there but so happy Andy could watch him run.

Taking note of plants I want in my new yard.
