Ideas for big kids during CoronaVirus

So we are all stuck at home. Anyone going crazy yet? We are still doing ok but I thought it might be good to find some stuff to do. Especially for the 10 year old.

Andy had a good idea for Eva to start a little herb garden from seeds. We usually buy our basil and rosemary when it’s already big and thriving but I agreed it would be fun for her to watch it grow.

How cute is this mason jar one??? I love the colors and it would look so cute in my kitchen!

This one is a little more basic but has more space for the plants to grow.

We have tried to grow an avocado tree from a seed before and were unsuccessful. Perhaps this one would work?

If you want to get all fancy and hydroponic you could get something like this which could be fun and cool and no dirt!

Ok- moving on. Eva’s birthday is next month and on her list is the new Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch. We are considering giving it to her early.

I mentioned puzzles in my last post and dogs under water sold out! But puzzles are always a go to around here. As are board games. Next up I will post our go to games around here for those of you with bigger kids that are getting board.
