Last day of school for 2020!

Hard to believe that the holiday break is here. My kids have been remote learning since last Spring and we just got word that it will continue until at least March. Surrounding areas are hybrid but Chapel Hill has remained remote.

But life still motors on and we are still trying to do normal stuff. Eva was super excited about her advent calendar this year as Nightmare Before Christmas is her fave movie in the entire world. I was surprised that Cole wanted a calendar as well. He got the Harry Potter Lego one.

The month started off warm so we tried to spend as much time outside as we could.

Boss kitty is back and immediately back in charge.

He gets into all my plants so Blake bought him his own kitty grass

He’s an indoor only cat but he does try to escape every time we get a package on the porch

I love him. Best dog ever.

It is so nice having Blake home. He sleeps until noon but plays Jeopardy with us every night 🙂 He also puts sriracha on everything!

He’s making a new speaker box for an amplifier

Eva has the best hair.

My sweet baby angel

We decided to head over the island for a long weekend since the weather turned warm again

As we pulled into the marina I got a text from my neighbor in Ohio that said “I miss Bald Head” . It’s like her Spidey senses went off and she knew where I was. 🙂

Morning coffee listening to waves

The little historic museum by the lighthouse was looking festive. Did you know Old Baldy is the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina? Even though it was developed with houses until the 80’s there were pirates on the island forever ago.

The Chapel looked super cute too.

Evening walks are my fave

Little dude on the golf course

Tomorrow I get to meet my other grand kitty for the first time. Animal house around here for sure

Not sure what is happening here

Ready to settle in for two weeks with my fave people! Fur and all.
