Rainy Day at the beach

Sitting on the couch snuggled up with a dog 🙂 I love these rainy days where there is nothing on the agenda but a book to read, food to cook, while watching the rain come down over the ocean. We are headed back to Chapel Hill tomorrow to meet up with Blake for the weekend so I need to pack up as well.

Excited to see this dude again soon. Andy made him this cat condo out of amazon boxes lol. He loves it!

This guy has enjoyed cat free drama here at the beach. 🙂

I am in the camp of getting the Christmas decorations down pretty quick after the holidays wrap up. We had a nice day so the boys got busy.

While the cat supervised

I printed pictures for Project Life. I have not been as good with it this year as the past couple years but I did finish it. Hoping to start fresh soon.

I get asked often what printer I use. My favorite is this one for the color- the prints just look so good. Better than when I send them out to be printed. But I also have this one that I keep at the beach house. I love it because I can print wirelessly from my phone or computer. I get the Ali Edwards monthly subscriptions and I love that the videos that come along with them keep me motivated.

We make paninis a lot- this is Blake’s fave. An odd combo of gouda, jalepenos, and spinach.

My neighbor sends me sunrise pics- this was a gorgeous one.

Meanwhile back in Ohio- Austin bought a harness and a leash and took his cat outside. He wasn’t thrilled lol.

While this dude was soaking up the sun on the porch at the beach.

Spotted at the BHI marina

Always in shorts…

Starting our bathroom remodel at the beach house. This is the downstairs half bath.

Celebrated another trip around the sun.

Big huge sigh of relief on this day

Sunrises are worth getting up for

Sunsets aren’t so bad either

A quick and easy meal my kids love. Parmesan Spaghetti. This time with bacon sprinkled on top.

Yum!

Another amazing sunrise

The porch got cafe lights

Tried cilantro avocado dressing on our taco salad. It was really good!

Chilling on the porch watching the rain.

Then it got really foggy- crazy.
