Fresh Salsa

We usually make a green cilantro heavy salsa but I wanted to try something different and found this one. It’s so good I ended up eating so much of it I wasn’t hungry for dinner!

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes undrained
  • 1 (10 ounce) cans diced tomatoes and green chiles undrained
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 jalapenos sliced with seeds removed
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt 
  • Juice from half a lime 

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a large food processor, and pulse until the salsa has reached your desired consistency.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
