It’s too cold! They closed school because it is too cold. Just seems a little strange- I grew up in Michigan where my hair always froze on the way to school.
My kids of course are thrilled, and I am happy too, we can hunker down and not go any where. As long as they let me sew.
It is looking like tomorrow might be the same way.
A big fire in the fireplace and a dog for each kid to snuggle up to.
Stay warm!!! It is cold here in Minnesota too. We were at a temp of -16 this morning and schools are closed too. Crazy!!!!

LOL! I am a lurker from Michigan and I just had to comment to tell you that they closed our schools too!! I couldn’t believe it, I said to my husband this morning, “they must have forgotten that we live in Michigan”! 😀

I was able to get out some work today! Broken water pipe. No water at a dental office…not good! So…home I go!

BRRR!! When I went out to the bus at 6:30 this morning, it was -3!!But do WE get a snow day? NO. All we got was an hour delay, I didn’t even get to sleep in! This stinks!!

It is a tad nippy. MaSquaw and I drove out to the barn and put the battery charger on the snow plowing tractor. We are scheduled to get 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow evening. Tonight is forcast to be another tooth chattering jaw-locker.
we have no school too…in Michigan. We have TONS of snow…my hubby and I were talking about it tonight that if we were in MN (where we are originally from) we would have had school. MN tends to be a little hard core when it comes to dealing with weather. They kinda have to be. Anyway, hope you are enjoying your time hunkered down with the kids….I’m doing the same thing, hoping to get out SOON! The walls are starting to close in after 4 days. thus the long comment 🙂
