Maggie is a 4 month old border collie that came to play today. One of my friends went into the pet store to pick up dog food for her two dogs and came home with a third. Apparently dropped off by a farmer, Maggie had been at the humane society for close to a month and her time was running out. So she was saved. But my friend already has a Golden Retriever and a huge lab puppy so I told her that Maggie could come over and play with us while she went to work.
This little girl is so sweet. Small enough to sit on your lap and snuggle but big enough to still be fun. And she likes to snuggle. My dogs don’t really snuggle, Astro just gets really stiff and Barley is just way too huge. So I made sure I got lots of snuggles from her. She slept at my feet while I sewed 🙂 She and Barley had the best time, they played and played and now Barley is just wiped out.
Off to watch Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
