So recently I have ventured back into the world of scrapbooking. It has been years- YEARS- since I have done anything will all of the pictures that I take.
But I had to put together a small book recently and as I am doing it I realized that I really miss it. Which made me a little sad that I didn’t do the challenge on Ali’s blog.
Right now I am in organizing mode. I want to get things pulled back out (still packed form the remodel) and quietly take over the new PB desk. Or maybe just a few drawers. I have had my eye on this book for a while
I looked around town for it a couple months ago but couldn’t find it. The other day I was on this blog which I love and in particular this post. As I followed the link to the blog and the author of the above book something dawned on me.
I know her.
Turns out Aby and I grew up in the same small town in Michigan. I wasn’t sure it was her at first, we went to the same high school but were not in the same grade. I sent her an email and sure enough, it was.

I, for one, am dying to see your new desk, so please post lots of pics!!!! I have to live vicariously on this one. Oh, how I l-o-v-e that desk. You are a lucky girl!
elisa, it’s never too late to do ali’s project. i needed the structured diversion whilst the hubster is gone for 5 weeks – woe is me. he returns on 10.17 and it can’t be soon enough. YES, please post that desk already! hugs and happy weekend, rachel
