So I called my mom today and told her that I need her to come up tomorrow because Andy is going to NYC again for a couple days. She responds by telling me that she is coming up this weekend.
E- “that’s not good enough! (insert whine) I need help this week while Andy is gone, don’t you know last week I almost had to give the kids up for adoption??”
My mom- “Oh my poor babies! I’ll call you back after I talk to your dad”
He he he, I knew that would work. No way my dad won’t say, “Go help her, my Grandkids can’t be given up for adoption!”
See I love my mom to death. She just retired, this is her first year not teaching Special Ed, high school Special Ed at that. She has the patience of a Saint! She lets my nieces roller blade in her kitchen!
So anyway, not only will I have back-up with the kiddos, I am putting her to work cutting, ironing, interfacing.
Whew, help is good.
Can you send her my way when you are done??? Pleeeeeeze??
