Today we drove over to Mad River to do some tubing.
It was a brisk 17 degrees.
You get a three hour pass, we made it 2 1/2
You can hook your tubes together which makes you go really fast.
By the end of the day it was getting so icy that they only let you go down in singles
I was amazed at the people showing up to tube once it got dark. They turn on the lights and stay open until 1am. I can’t imagine how cold it would be.
It was a really fun day.

I bet the boys had a blast. It has been 18 here after we enjoyed 60 last Friday, go figure this crazy weather. I am ready for spring and gardening!
i have never seen anything like that! wow. my kids would LOVE it. oh man…i never even knew that existed. i can’t wait to show my husband. kansas doesn’t have that anywhere. 🙂
and then to go at night! so cool.
but it also looks very cold. i am the mom that sits in the car when they go sledding. i hate cold.
