We have known for a while now that our hot water heater had a little leak. When I found water on the floor of the storage side of our basement I realized why we never had any hot water anymore. We took our time, discussing options like the on demand water heater or installing two like the house we had in Texas, one gas and one electric. But in the end when we realized at 8pm last night that the water was now gushing, we replaced it with a standard water heater from Home Depot because they were open at 8pm. Andy said he thought it would take an hour to repalce. At 2:30am he came to bed mumbling, “it took a little longer than I thought”. But now we have hot water, and our basement is dry. We have been talking about fisnishing out our basement forever and this was a good time to start the process. All the wet stuff needed to be taken out and there was so much that needed to be taken to Goodwill. It always feels so good to get rid of stuff. We took the seats out of the Sienna and loaded it up. AHHH! Next step, walls.
