Yesterday day was the annual Limited Day at the Point.  Always an adventure.

The older boys decided to start off with an easy ride, I even convinced them to go on the school bus with Cole and I.  Austin was less than thrilled.

After that we pretty much parted ways.  The boys were brave and did the big Roller Coasters with their dad. Even this one.

Cole and I stuck to mild rides, like the Giant Ferris Wheel which I love because it is right next to the lake

Each year it changes, the first couple years I would escape with Cole over to the beach so he could nap or nurse or just play in the sand.  This year he was a trooper and was all over the rides.  I actually missed our quiet breaks at the beach. This is the first year that we didn’t go up the night before so we just made it a day trip.  The boys missed that part of the trip too.

While we like to go in the summer because, well it’s free- we also really like to go in October.  The weather is perfect, the lines are short and the atmosphere is more mellow.  Plus they bring out all the creepy Halloween props.

Every August I start to long for fall.  Probably my favorite time of year, I am looking forward to the changing colors, the crispness in the air, and the fun fall functions at the boys school.  But today we are supposed to get close to 90, my a/c has been running for two weeks now!
