Work Hard Play Harder

I have only been to a handful of Crew games. Last nights game against the Houston Dynamos was a good one.

It was such a perfect night to be outside.

And these pictures of Brian Carroll and Robbie Rogers crack me up. They are waiting for the ball to be kicked in by a Houston player.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess that pro soccer players don’t wear cups?

They have to wear cups…I mean, that wouldn’t make sense. but, I just….I don’t even know what to think.

I don’t get it either…my kids play soccer and they are not required to wear cups. I don’t understand it??????

GREAT pics!!!

Wish we had MLS in my neck of the woods! We did get to see a friendly the summer before last with DC United vs Real Madrid. Even though it was a friendly, it was still very exciting. Though my ears were scared after listening to the tweenie girls in the row below us screaming every time David Beckham took a step.

Two things-

We had screaming girls behind us too. In fact Cole turned around a bunch of times and said, “will you pweeeze stop screaming! You are hurting my ears!”

And David Beckham, I have a friend that bought season tickets to the Crew because the LA game is here this year, just so she could see him. Bet there will be a lot of screaming going on at that game!
