We got so cold around these parts last week but now fall has returned. The kids are back in short sleeves and some shorts. The windows were thrown open yesterday.
Blake got out of the house and went on a walk down the street. We love to go down there and throw hedge apples into the river.
We collected a bunch for my friend Lynne, because if you get Better Homes and Gardens magazine you will know that they make a good centerpiece while repelling spiders. Always a good combo if you ask me!
Miss E fell asleep and missed all of the fun.
They are completely replacing all of the playground equipment at the playground (the orange area blocked off) The kids can’t wait for it to reopen.
I am sure Eva will clock a lot of hours there.
I love the tongue stuck out- I do that too.
Getting to be outside again was so nice. It was only a few days of cold but it made me realize I am not ready for winter.
We are so lucky to have this beautiful area so close to our house.
MB doesn’t run when I pull the camera out.
I am always amazed at how fast these kids have grown. And happy I have known them for so long.
And look how gorgeous she is.

What fun. That is a beautiful area. You are very lucky to have something so close, within walking distance. My brother picks up those green things and swears they do repel spiders. I have should get some and see. Glad Blake was able to get out, fresh air is healing! Beautiful pictures by the way.

I am heading up your way in 3 weeks and I can tell you that I am NOT ready for your cold weather either. I need to go shopping. I don’t have any winter clothes.
