Broken Card Reader

So no pictures.

Add it to my list of things I need to pick up.

I was going to do a big post about how Thankful I am for my big farm table.  But it’s not quite the same without pictures. Ok, I will do it anyway.

I love that table.  It was exactly what we needed.  Over the past few days, that table held us all (plus grandparents) for Thanksgiving with plenty of room.

It served as the place where we had two matches of Blokus, in which I got my butt kicked.  Twice.  At one point Cole leaned over and said, “Since I rock at this game, and you stink at it, you can be on my team and I will tell you where to move.”

It was the place for beaded star crafts- half the time Cole was either sitting in the middle of the table, or laying down on it.  At which point I told Andy, “that is exactly why I wanted this table”.

Out came the Play Dough, and we rolled and rolled and filled the table with cutout shapes of candy canes, gingerbread men, dogs, sharks, and butterflies.  Cole told me that I should do all things good, he would do all things scary (like sharks).

Then when the Play Dough was cleaned up, out came the Legos.  And they are still there.

And if I had a picture I would insert it here.  But the card reader is broken.

But since no post is fun without pictures- I will add a few that I have already uploaded.

What's your number? Wirstlet

I love this fabric- it’s called, “What’s your number?”  We used to have it but it went quick.  But I found a couple pieces left and made a couple wristlets with detachable straps.  In the ETSY shop.

I love our kitchen table too! Over the years we have done many of the same things you have mentioned. Ours is nicked here and there and we know just what we were doing when these things happened. My mother-in-law said there is no way she would have ever allowed the crafts and activities that happen at that table the way I do. I just love the girls all being around and sharing with them! Post your pictures soon!!
