Last year we decided to go to a tree farm to chop down our Christmas tree and liked it so much we decided to do it again this year.
After reading an article in Country Living about how it is actually more green to chop down a tree than to use an artificial one, I was all for it.
I have so many pictures from our tree outing so I am not editing any of them. They are coming at ya straight out of my camera. Eva thinks she sees the perfect tree.
We always have at least one of these little melt-downs
But then his brother gives him a lift
I make them pose for a shot in front of the tree we pick
and another
and then one more without the tongue
A few with dad
Eva says hi
A couple with mom
Then we wait for the bus
And now our house looks and smells like Christmas!

We love going to the tree farm too … we’ve done it for years!! 1 of my favorite Christmas traditions!! Of course, we all pick out a completely different “perfect” tree, then it’s a fight to see whose tree wins out and gets to come home with us! And .. I always take a ton of pictures! Love the bus with the old fashioned lights on the side.

but we have it.
and it’s pretty enough.
i miss hunting down a real one though.

We’re going to try to go to the tree farm Saturday morning. I tried to convince Jim to go last weekend, but couldn’t do it.

I’m sorry Cole was having a meltdown – but I love that photo!
