I posted this without a title- oops

Andy took off around around 2pm today to hit Ikea- which is in Cincy, which is almost two hours away. But we promised Blake a new bed for Christmas and tomorrow he has basketball most of the day and well, you know how it goes.

Blake and Cole share a room. When we remodeled our house, we added another bedroom but we turned Blake’s old room into our master bathroom. We didn’t have Eva then, plus Cole and Blake wanted to share a room, and were even sharing a room back when they didn’t have to.

But now Blake is 11. And his 7 year old brother bugs him. At least part of the time. So as a compromise (instead of making Eva give up her room- because lets face it, we want the girly sleeping in her own room) we told him we would get him a cool loft bed so he could have room underneath that was all his. A guitar playing hang-out.

Currently we have bunkbeds that we bought when Austin and Blake were very young. I still love those beds so they are going to the basement for sleepovers.

So of course this means Cole gets a new bed too.

But the good thing is that Ikea is a great place for inexpensive furniture. We just don’t have one close by.

I was looking forward to a day of hanging with the family but instead it has been me hanging with the kids, or more like me keeping Eva away from the boys.

Because let me tell you, this little chica is a crazy little thing

If anyone pulls out a computer, she is on you like glue

Poke poke poke- she tries to type, she tries to shut it, and as a last resort she will throw something at you.

And she will pull out all stops to get a laugh- like biting her pee-pee diaper to make her brothers yell “GROSS!” and she just laughs.

And of course there is a fit, or two

And she plays. With dried Annie’s mac and cheese on her face.

But she’s cute, and these toes sticking out?? Oh man

And she does a lot of naughty things- like this. She knows this is bad. And she looks at me and just smirks.

And the dog sleeps sitting up

So Eva tries it too

But then it’s back to play

She always uses both hands so we can’t tell if we are gonna have another leftie.

And then she finds Austin- who can’t get away from her because his computer has to be plugged in to work. So he builds a barricade around himself to try to keep her away

But of course it doesn’t work

And soon he is surrounded

But he tells her to go away

And she gets sassy

And it’s back to play

And of course another fit

But then it’s ok again

And she has to wear her sassy boots again

And put them on all by herself
