Workshop!

I am packing up to leave my family for a couple days/nights and I keep thinking I am forgetting something. Then I realize that I have never packed for just me. It’s weird.

Eva is being so cute this morning. She has eaten almost a whole pack of blueberries so when she asked for more I asked if she wanted more blueberries or maybe some strawberries this time.

“strawberries!!” she said. Plain as day. I said are you sure? Do you want strawberries or blueberries?

“strawberries!!” she said again.

I am so proud of her. She jabs all the time but most of the time we can’t understand her. Mostly basics, mom, dad, dog, shoes, cheese, more please, hi, bye, see ya, be right back, juice, au-do (austin), “g” That’s what she calls Blake (who we call “B”), she’s mad at Cole half the time so she refuses to call him anything, she just points at him if we say anything about Cole. Stubborn girl.

Oh and my favorite is when our little dog Zoey pees on the floor- which happens often because of various reasons but most often when someone or another dog scares her- Eva yells “PEE!!” and starts to freak out. “DOG! PEE!”

I haven’t been worried because she understand everything we say so I know she is just soaking it all in.

But then out of the blue, she spits out big words.

I wrote the above a couple days ago before I left for the workshop- now I am here, smack dab in the middle of it- missing my family but trying to just soak up as much info as I can.

Today was a lot of info and then a day spent shooting. It was fun, and exhausting.

I have met some great women- and Amy and David, just really great genuine people.

I am tired. And I want to Skype my kids. So I am going to throw up some pictures of Amy showing us how it is done. I took so many pictures today but I do not have the energy to look at them.

She is a master at what she does. But what I love most is that she keeps it simple.

David told us tonight at dinner that Amy shoots with her left eye- feels so awkward to think about. I will have to ask Cole to take a picture and see if he shoots with his left eye since he is a lefty too.

We had the most beautiful models today. They were only 15!!

I can’t wait to look at the pictures, I just can’t bring myself to do it tonight

I am off to relax and try to get a good nights sleep tonight, I slept horrible last night and I have an extra long day tomorrow.
