In a little over a week I will be dipping my toes in the sand and living the slow life with my family for a week.
I can’t wait.
I so long for the slow life. No sports, no work, no guitar, no running here and there. Just hanging.
And here is my new bag to pack up with my beach reads, magazines, sunblock, and various other things to do while hanging on the sands of the Gulf Coast.
The Large Bucket Bag has always been my go-to bag because I wear it across my body, hands free. A must with young kids. This fabric screams fun, relax, beach fun!

You know I paint the picture of ultimate relaxation, but the reality is I will be chasing a little sand eating baby all over the place.
But at least I will have a cool bag.
In the meantime, it’s back to work
I have been told that taking a small inflatable baby pool to the beach allows mom and dad some relaxation, as the sand eating baby may stay in it to play. just an idea.
Oh I love that bag! I’m so glad you have a trip coming up to get ready for! I always thing that’s part of the fun of vacation…getting ready. : ) Can’t wait to see photos of that bag on the beach!
Quick question- when you square off the bottom of your bags, so it can stand, how do you get your seams to line up so perfectly every time? i measure and check, but sometimes I’m off. Frustrating! Is there a trick I don’t know?
Mary I wish I had a secret to share but it took so much practice to get my seams to all match up. Well that and cutting with extreme accuracy. My husband made me templates of all of my bags out of plexiglass- sp? That helps a ton!

Great fabric on that bag. I hope you have a wonderful time with family and in the sun. I long to go somewhere warm for a few days. Eva will be so much fun in the sand! ;0.
