Down on the Farm

The beautiful sunny not so hot days we are having is making me long to stretch out the next week as long as I can before the kiddos go back to school.

I am currently lounging on the screened porch with my big golden girl that is still recouping from her surgery and Coley man who has rediscovered a bunch of matchbox cars and the simple fun they can bring.

The girly is napping, I have no idea where the older boys have run off to, Andy is in Chicago (I think, he travels so much lately I have stopped keeping track of where he goes).

I am looking at photos- more from the farm

Like this naughty dog that likes to get into the garden

And this hot-headed chica that likes to get her way

Have I mentioned how much I love summer at the farm?

Poor Zoey, can you tell she is not crazy about Miss Sassy?

The Barley girl before her surgery.

There is a small part of me that is looking forward to fall, don’t get me wrong. I LOVE fall. Changing leaves, bonfires, football, pumpkin patches, apple picking…. I’m just not quite ready to give up summer yet.

Just like last summer, we had the opportunity to entertain the idea of moving again this summer. But have decided that Ohio is home.

A couple outtakes from my group barn shot- I think I took 10 shots and got one that sorta worked- I posted it a few days ago. My puking day.

Times up- more farm pics ahead but the girly is awake!

Your bokeh is always so amazing. It literally kills me. I am kind of sucking at bokeh right now so I have major envy. Those grapes take me back to our farm in the summer. We used to have rows and rows of them. I can taste them right now.

I don’t know if I’ve said this before but I love your parents farm, that fence and the perfectly lined trees on the other side make me very happy.
